Is my common app essay too safe? It’s about my grandma’s garden.
The garden works, but right now it reads like a lesson essay. Cut the moral in the last line and let one specific afternoon carry it.

Questions, answered.

How does Polaris calculate my chances?

We compare your test scores and GPA against each college’s published middle-50% ranges and acceptance rate using official U.S. Dept. of Education data for 1,520 schools, then factor in the activities and awards you add and the real results students in the community share after decisions come out. Your profile surfaces as reach, target, or likely. It’s a data-grounded estimate, not a guarantee — essays and context still decide.

Who gives the feedback on my application?

Other students and recent applicants in the community — the people who just went through this cycle. You post a Chance Me with your profile and get votes (accept / waitlist / reject) and comments in real time, so you can adjust early instead of finding out in April.

When does Polaris launch?

We’re rolling out on TestFlight in Fall 2026. The waitlist gets first access, and referrals move you up the line.

Is it free?

Yes. Polaris is free to use. Polaris+ is an optional upgrade (unlimited AI advisor + early features). Waitlist referrers get one month free at launch.

How do referrals work?

Share your personal link with friends. Each friend who joins moves you up 25 spots, and you both get one month of Polaris+ free when we launch.
